Website analytics & privacy

Updated October 12, 2026. This notice covers our optional website analytics and search-performance monitoring. It is not a substitute for any clinical Notice of Privacy Practices or information provided during intake.

You choose whether analytics is enabled

We do not show an automatic analytics pop-up. Google Analytics is off unless you have selected “Allow analytics.” To opt in, decline, or change a previous decision, open “Privacy choices” in the footer. Closing the panel without making a choice does not enable tracking. Your choice is stored in your browser, and you can browse or contact us without allowing analytics.

What optional analytics measures

With your permission, Google Analytics processes information such as page views, browser/device details, cookie identifiers, approximate location, and recognized referral sources to help us understand public website traffic. We use general page categories for article and treatment pages rather than sending their specific titles or URLs. Query strings and fragments are removed. Analytics cookies are configured for 90 days.

What we keep out of Analytics

We do not run this tracking on our contact/intake page, career application page, or account/API pages. We do not send form entries, client names, contact information, therapist selections, diagnoses, insurance identifiers, or intake messages to Google Analytics. Automatic form, search, download, and outbound-click measurement is disabled. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our website tag.

Google services and search monitoring

Google processes Analytics data under its own policies. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and about Google Analytics data practices. Separately, Spark Wellness uses read-only Google Search Console authorization to review search-performance information for our verified website and prepare recommendations. The monitoring integration does not edit your Google account or publish website changes.
